-I like the new layout! I've already told you that, but, well, not since it actually got implemented!

-The passion of christ is supposed to be good, and not preachy at all - but reallllyyy violent. Haven't heard anyone say it wasn't good though.

-Also, for the picture to be totallly showgaze you'd have to be solemnly looking downwards - but the hair captures it decently, haha. Either way, a supremely cute picture.

vegan potluck in redlands.... i prolly know ppl that will be there but i wouldnt go myself cause i think most food specifically labeled "vegan food" tastes like feces......

and dont listen to your friend that said shoegaze is like british emo because it is not like "emo" whatsoever and really has nothing to do with england either.....

in fact, the band most people would describe as the quintisential shoegazer band , "my bloody valentine" was an american band... although alot of shoegazer music did come out of britain... primal scream... spiritualized... etc
the music the best i can describe it is heroin blissed stargazing music.. but the performers often have this modest shyness "mind is somewhere else" quality about them so they would be onstage gazing at their shoes..
im kinda glad mtv never tried to exploit the genere...
as far as emo goes... the only definition and uniting factor i can come up with is that they all wear converse shoes....
no wonder mtv and "the OC" is exploiting it

emo as a genre of music is very odd as well... any music can be emo, it just a certain SOUND that makes them classified as emo. and i like some "emo" so yea.. genres upset me
