The end of an era

So it as come to an end... DisneySites has closed, and it makes me feel quite numb. In a way it’s ridiculous, since we’re talking about an online forum that shouldn’t affect my everyday life all that much. But it does and it has. I’ve been a member for seven years, and it’s part of my everyday routine to stop by DS, check up on my forums and see

I just can't beleive that the boards are closed, though. It makes my head hurt for some reason. I mean, I feel a lot better knowing that we have the new forum and all. But still, I am kinda sad about DS being gone now.

I know, I feel the same way... Though the boards were pretty dead for the last two weeks, so that helped ease the transition a bit for me. Good thing we have the sister board =)

Even though I stopped posting there, I do think it's incredibly sad that DS has closed. I had a really good time on there while I did, and met some really awesome people, you included. *hugs*

And I'm forever amused how we managed to turn pretty much any thread into a LotR/Hobbit discussion. With Bob hovering around in the background of course. ;)

*hugs back* We all share so many great memories from the boards =) Both Disney related and LotR related ;) So sad it had to end, but all good things eventually do.
