"Ryo-chan!! It's tonight!"
Yamada watched as Yuri bounced up and down happily beside him and gave him a forced smile. It wasn't that he's not happy that he's going out with Yuri.. it's just that.. of all movies why must he choose one that is scary?
Yamada just don't understand this kid sometimes. He can scream and hide behind him when the sky is dark and thunder's rolling but he's not afraid of horror movies?
Yuri invited Yamada to watch 4bia a few days ago and as much as he wanted to reject him, he just can't. He blame it on the sparkling eyes Yuri had when he was asking. And now.. he really had no choice but to go.
He did suggest him to ask the others, he tried all he could but everything else failed and he was forced to go in the end. He didn't want to disappoint Yuri and so.. he's going to suffer.
Everything will be fine. Right?
When Yuri appeared at his doorstep that night, Yamada was ready to go, his soft toy clutched tightly in his arm.
"Ryo-chan..?"
Yuri raised his eyebrows at him when he saw Yamada hugging it tightly as they walked to the cinema, questions sprouting in his head but he decided to keep quiet. Yamada looked kind of pale.
They settled down in the comfy seats, Yuri more relaxed than ever with Yamada beside him, still clutching the toy tightly.
The lights darkened and the movie started. Loud sounds and sudden scenes made him lean more and more towards Yuri as the movie progressed, his soft toy held tightly in his arms and right in front of his face just in case something flies out.
When it finally ended, Yuri turned to his sides to find Yamada curled up in his seats, the soft toy right in front of him and he couldn't help but smile. Probably, this is why he invited Yamada out to watch this when he knew he was afraid. It's because of these rare chances that he can be the one that is brave, the one that protects.
Standing up, he stretched himself before putting his hand onto Yamada's freezing cold ones, warming it up. He pulled him up from the seat and smiled to him, reassuring him that there's nothing to be afraid of before pulling Yamada out of the cinema.
At times like this, Yamada is grateful of Yuri's warmth.
Second
Quarantine, out in the cinemas.
Yamada blinked as the trailer ended, fast paced and heart thumping. It looks good and he's curious how the plot would develop.. would it turn out the way he thought it'll be?
Rushing into their room, Yamada immediately asked Yuri to watch it with him that night. Speaking fast and excitedly about the trailer he saw just now.
It didn't sound good to him but he agreed. Yamada's excited.. that's a good enough reason.
Searching for a short description of the plot online, Yuri's face paled. Are they really watching that?!
When they reached the cinema, Yuri tried his best to persuade Yamada to watch something else instead.
"Bolt seems nice~"
But it didn't work and his persuation fell on deaf ears, Yamada can be stubborn when he wants to be and before anything else could be done, the tickets were bought.
The movie was indeed scary and it definitely created a great impact on them.
Yuri was crying badly by the time the movie ended, closing his eyes tight as if afraid that once he opened them, those things in the movie would appear right in front of him.
Yamada was trembling beside him, affected by the movie as well. He didn't expect it to be that bad.. Well, the trailer looks ok enough.
He heard the sobbings and his heart ached, guilty for what he've done.
The thing he hated most was Yuri's tears and now he's responsible for it.
Getting up from his seat, he knelt down beside Yuri, gently wiping the tears that flowed down his pretty face.
"Shhh. It's over. It's gone."
Yuri relaxed slightly and slowly opened his eyes to find Yamada's gentle eyes in front of him, he sniffed and held on to Yamada's hand tightly. "No more?" His voiced cracked and Yamada felt a pull in his heart. Nodding, he picked Yuri up and supported him as they went home together.
Third
"Chii. It's a comedy!"
"No."
"But it's funny!"
"Yada."
"Mou.. I want to make it up to you."
Yuri turned around and Yamada stopped in his track just in time.
"Not scary?"
Yamada shook his head.
"No sudden loud sounds?"
He nodded.
Yuri peered at him closely, checking the sincerity in his eyes.
"Fine."
Yamada smiled and pulled him into a hug, ruffling his hair slightly before letting him go.
They laughed throughout the movie. Yes Man was hilarious and the cinema roared with laughter with time to time.
When it ended, they couldn't stop saying "yes" as they got high discussing the scenes that they just watched.
They reached home laughing, toppling over as they entered the house.
Yabu raised his eyebrows at them as he nudged Hikaru to look at those two.
"Daijoubu?"
"Hai!"
"Hontou?"
"Hai!"
Dai-chan peered over from his position as they both burst into laughters once again.
"Are you guys crazy?!"
"YES!"
And they burst out laughing once again. Yuto smiled as he looked at them, amused by their laughters. Ryutaro merely looked up from his game, raised his eyebrows and went back to it, deciding to ignore his crazy senpais.
"Why are you guys saying yes to everything?"
This time it was Keito, coming out of his room to check on the commotion.
"Hai!"
He shook his head as they started laughing again and retreated back into his room, closing the door behind him.
Hikaru whispered to Yabu when an idea popped into his head and they both smiled cheekily at the two in front of them, laughing slightly out of breathe and clutching at their stomach.
"Ja.. would you wash the dishes for 1 week?"
"Hai~"
Hikaru grinned. His plan is working.
"What about mopping the floor?"
"Hai!"
Yabu gave Hikaru a high-five and the grinned at each other.
"Ja, arigatou na!"
They both patted Yamada and Yuri on the shoulder before leaving the room and going back to their room. Highly proud of themselves that the week's chores are settled.
"You guys are in deep trouble."
Dai-chan sighed as he turned back to his television, snuggling up to Takaki who was snoring beside him.
"EH?!!!"
"We what?!"
Yuri's mouth was left hanging as he looked at Yabu, confusion in his eyes.
"But..! But..!"
"No complains. You guys agreed. Right Hika?"
Hikaru nodded as he crossed his arms, giving Yabu a knowing smile.
Yamada sighed as he grabbed the mop from Yabu's hand and started dipping it into the soapy water. Sulking, Yuri follow suit as he took over the mop from Hikaru's hand, pouting to Dai-chan who was sitting at the side. "Told you."
They probably shouldn't get too high that night.
Fourth
"Mitai!! Mitai. Mitai. Mitai~~~"
"Shhhh! Chii!"
Yuri pouted as Yamada hurriedly ran over to him, pulling him away from everybody.
"It's not our fault that we're busy.."
"Demo.. Rapunzel da yo! Everyone watched it except us!"
Yamada sighed. True, the whole of JUMP was talking about the movie, even the juniors were discussing it and they were the only ones left out, too busy to even watch a movie.
Yuri looked at Yamada, disappointed and dejected. Sighing, he returned back to their room. Yamada knew how much Yuri wanted to watch that movie and so he secretly checked their schedule with the available time slots left for the movie. Finally getting one that matched, he quickly bought the tickets to that Saturday's late afternoon slot.
"Ah~~ Tsukareta~"
Yuri flopped onto his bed. They just ended filming for a variety show, dancing and singing to their new single was tiring indeed, especially when they didn't have much sleep the day before.
"Chii!"
Yamada burst into the room, pulling him out of the bed and pushing him towards the closet.
"Eh?!"
"Change now!"
It didn't take long for him to change out of his home wear and into something casual. They are Johnny's for a reason and years of training have them changing in seconds.
Yamada pulled Yuri along as he hurried them to the cinema, they didn't have much time left before the movie starts.
Checking his watch, he bought popcorn and drinks for Yuri before they enter the cinema and settled down in their seats.
The movie was simply outstanding. They love it. Especially the particular scene where the lanterns float "out" of the screen when they were on the boat. That scene was breathtaking and they felt themselves reaching out unconsciously, their hands stretched in front of them.
They giggled when their hands touched and they retracted it immediately.
They laughed and cried along with the movie especially during the touching moments, Yuri would lean towards Yamada, snuggling towards him as tears rolled down his cheeks and Yamada would place his hand on his shoulder naturally, comforting him.
When they reached home after the movie, the sight that was displayed in front of them when they opened the door sent them laughing to bits.
Hikaru was wearing a blonde wig (from where, they have no idea) and holding a pan out towards Yabu, who was holding on to a broom.
When Yamada asked, Hikaru explained that they were apparently trying to test out the ability of the pan.
"What about the hair?" Yuri looked up from the floor and asked in between his laughter.
"Ahh~ Beautiful isn't it?" and he flipped his hair back, a proud look on his face.
Yabu burst out laughing and started attacking Hikaru with the broom, much to Yamada and Yuri's amusement.
Fifth
Yuri rolled over on the bed and lied on his back, peering over at Yamada who was sitting at the end of the bed.
"Ne, Ryosuke.."
"Hmm?"
"What are we doing for Valentine's?"
"Hmm..dou kana.."
He stretched and lay back down, resting his head on Yuri's stomach before turning towards him.
"Nani hoshii?"
"Saa..."
Peering down at Yamada, he found him staring up to the ceiling, thinking as his hair fell down by his side.
"Ah! Eiga? Eiga dou?"
He sat up and flipped over, now resting his arm on Yuri's stomach before placing his head on it.
Yuri blinked. A movie..? Sounds good.
"Ii~ Ja, let's eat italian after that!"
"Spaghetti?"
"Un!"
"Ii desu ne~~"
He grinned at Yuri as he supported himself up, hovering over him and placing a kiss on Yuri's cheek before getting up and leaving the room.
Their date went as planned and there was this sweet aura surrounding them as they left the cinema. A romance movie, just nice for a romantic date.
Yuri was smiling happily as he hooked his hands through Yamada's arms, leaning towards him as they walked to the restaurant.
The food was delicious and perfectly planned by Yamada and Yuri's smile grew wider and wider, if possible, as each dishes appear on the table.
When they were about to reach their desserts, Yamada suddenly got up from his seat.
"Eh?"
Looking up at Yamada with a blur look, he watched as Yamada went closer and closer to him.
"Even if I have to travel to the end of the world for you, I would, because you meant the whole world to me."
He held out a bouquet of flowers in front of him, decorated nicely and with a cute teddy bear in the middle of it all, lying in the mash of beautiful flowers.
"For you."
He leaned in and took Yuri's lips in his, kissing him softly and gently, allowing his feelings to reach him truely.
When he broke away, Yuri was blushing deeply as he took the flowers from Yamada, burrying his face in it.
"Arigatou Ryo-chan."
