Personality: Anna is dedicated through and through. Practice is daily, the workshop must be kept clean, and she won't hesitate to order around a group of students five years older than her if things aren't going according to schedule. Of course, as Anna is also a little kid, she has a tendency to let her imagination run away with her, and jump to all the wrong conclusions fairly quickly.

During Pamela's Chapter 4 character quest, for example, Anna mistakes Pamela's boredom for sadness about being a ghost, and becomes determined to send Pamela on to the afterlife, to the point where she goes into sort of a "beserk" mode, and cuts down everyone that attempts to stop her. It takes a chase all around campus, ending in the Campus Dungeon, before Anna finally snaps out of it, and apologizes to Pamela, though not before asking her if she's really happy being a ghost, given that Pamela will essentially stay one forever. There's no happiness in that, is there?

Her overactive imagination especially comes into play when around Vayne Aurelius, the main character who the storyline of Mana Khemia revolves around. When she takes him to Dragon's Grave to train with her one morning, she starts pondering on taking him on as a disciple, and then starts thinking about what if he calls her 'senpai' she's still in training herself a disciple with a disciple ahhhh, and gets...well, fairly blushy about it. This comes up again in her Chapter 8 character quest, where she gets stuck with Vayne, alone, in an unexplored area of the Mana Ruins.

As Sulphur goes out to get help, Anna once again lets her imagination get the best of her, worrying about what Vayne might do to an innocent unwed maiden like herself, and, while she had previously had decided they would wait for Sulphur to return, this gets Anna changing her mind, and ordering Vayne to get a move on, because they were going to find a way out.

Anna believes firmly in schedules, and sticking to them, and by Chapter 11, writes Flay, of all people, a schedule so that he won't flunk senior year a 5th time. In one cutscene, her take-charge attitude applies to her own class, as well, though it seems to have caused her classmates to rely on her a little too much. Anna snaps at them to do things themselves at one point, though ends up helping again, anyway. Within another cutscene, she has set up a scheduled cleaning day to clean up the workshop, but she finds that nobody has come, except an unsuspecting Vayne, who didn't know about it, and has him help her clean up.

Although she is somewhat of a sword prodigy, Anna's skill with alchemy isn't necessarily the best. As it turns out, she was copying what everyone else was doing when it came to synthesis, without really knowing what she was doing. Thus, when left on her own to try synthesizing items, Anna had no idea what to do, or what ingredients were used to make what base ingredients to make such items.

Strengths/Weaknesses: Anna is a skilled sword prodigy, having practically trained since birth with a sword, to take over the family dojo when she's older. She's also attending Al-Revis, so she has some skill with alchemy. Her sense of dedication and orderliness help her get things done in a timely manner.

At the same time, Anna's still a kid. She has a tendency to allow her imagination to get the best of her, jumps to all the wrong conclusions fairly quickly, and has a bad habit of going on the warpath when the above happen. Despite having knowledge of alchemy, she's also not as talented at it as initially thought; as it turns out, she had been simply only doing what everyone else was doing when performing item synthesis, and had never really paid attention to what items made what item, which reflected on her grades.

Samples
(Please note that both samples must take place in Route_29’s setting.)

First Person Sample: They say that if we collect all of the gym badges, returning home becomes a possibility. Has anyone managed to find proof behind this theory? I will admit- I would prefer to return to the Academy as soon as possible, myself. ...Though at the same time, this has been a learning experience, as I have been able to train in an entirely new way. Regardless, though, whether this is true or not, I will be putting my all into obtaining all of the badges, and I will hope others will do the same.

[...]

Also, if anyone has seen any individuals that may also claim to be from Al-Revis Academy, please let me know as soon as possible, thank you.

Third Person Sample: For someone who adhered to a tight schedule, being displaced put all of her plans out of order. Anna was used to getting up daily before class, training in Dragon's Grave to hone her sword techniques, and now, she was getting up daily, setting out further in her quest to train these 'Pokémon', as they were called, so as to obtain gym badges in order to return home.

At first, this change in routines slightly confused Anna, annoying her to an extent as well, but before long, she had since learned to adapt, creating an entirely new schedule revolving around training her team, and getting stronger. She'd admit, of course, that the loss of her sword and skills was a challenge, as her primary focus in her life had always been to master the sword so as to take over the family business, but Johto seemed...peaceful enough to where Scyther and her other Pokémon could handle things for her.

"Still, though..." Anna admitted outloud, one day, "I feel like this isn't challenging enough."

Of course, 'challenging' differed from one individual to another, but Anna had high standards, and simply going around battling other trainers didn't seem to really cut it for her. Add to that the fact that there was no set deadline to get any of this done, and it seemed...boring, in a way. But no bother- if it was going to be boring, then Anna would simply have to give herself a challenge, right? Maybe she should start by taking on stronger Pokémon, stronger than she was currently, and put herself to the test. Perhaps she would also look into type advantages and disadvantages, and work on overcoming that, as well.

Yes, that seemed like a plan. First thing first, though- it'd probably help to check the map again, and figure out where her next destination should be, right? Getting out her PokéGear, Anna set to the task.
