So I finally caught up with Revolution
I'll stick my few observations behind a cut just incase they're still spoilers... even if they're like almost 2 weeks old.
1) THANK YOU COSTUME DESIGNERS FOR FINALLY THROWING SOME DIRT AT THESE ACTORS!
I was so sick and tired of the perfectly put together faces and the spotless clothing. These people have gone 15 years without electricity but they still have working curling irons? I don't think so. So. Thank you!
2) I am so glad that I have yet to see a fucking musket this season. I hated those things and they made no sense.
3) Interesting little thing. I actually love this season. I think its so much better than the first season story wise. Now that the entire "why did the power go out?" & "how can we turn the lights back on" is over and done with I think this season can actually explore the world of the show correctly.
So interesting bit is... while I love this season of the show. My mom actually finds it really boring and she's thinking of giving it up soon if this next episode doesn't draw her back in.
4) This is just a shallow bit... but umm... When did Monroe get so attractive? I mean look at the guy... did he always look like that? lol
Also, I want him and Charlie to end up on a weird trek together. Where they hate each other A LOT, but then this weird kind of respect but they never trust each other and Monroe goes from being this evil made by the forces of hell to bring darkness onto the world kind of guy and instead turns out to be this shades of grey guy, who got lost along the way because power corrupts and he only ever wanted to be like Miles. You know kind of like that. I want Monroe character development... actually want entire cast character development this season. I want a season of just characters developing like crazy.
