it's been a while, hasn't it?

I'd like to ask you a few questions. Do you play video games and if you do, why (looking for deeper answers for both if applies)? If you watch movies, why do you watch them?

Just thinking of a few ideas for a topic.

I do play video games from time to time. The reasoning behind playing them are varied. Most of the time I play them to pass the time immersed in a world that I cannot have here, other times I play them to have bonding time with my children. As for movies, I watch movies for the immersion as well, lately I have just been wanting to see if they can produce movies from the things I have read or played with in the past. I love sitting in a dark room with my close friends and watch the movie play out and listen or watch their reactions to the scenes... I guess I do this in part as a psychological experiment and as part of looking for what affects people in the theater so I can write a better script or play or musical by using the emotional values I find there and working them into my own work.
