Sage advice; such testimonials ought to be given to children as they enter adolescene that they might understand that the conseqences of being sexually active extend beyond mere physical risks like pregnancy and vd. Well...maybe leave out the last sentence: when it's being read to 7th graders, it probably wouldn't go over too well with some of the parents.

lol. very true.

yeah, it's so sad that people don't consider that there are far more serious consequences than getting pregnant. they don't usually realize it until they find themselves stuck in terrible relationship after terrible relationship. there would be less of a need for psychiatrists (sp?) if people would just abstain.

Indeed, there would be less need for psychiatrists (you nailed the spelling on that one). I'd go so far as to say that social health in general would increase, and maybe so far as to say that the overall quality of sitcoms on tv shows would increase as the ensuing shift in social mindset would force sitcom writers to stop relying on the same stale sex jokes to carry their shows when they can't think of original plotlines. Oh for the days of Family Matters...

wow. you are probably right. basically it comes down to the world being a better place if everyone would abstain.

family matters was a great show. especially when erkel transformed into erkelle (sp? i'm really not sure on that one). heheh. the grandmother was also hilarious.
