Why is Facebook filled with religous nuts?

Yeah I've found out a few people I know are very vocal about their religious views, which is creepy. I know I'm being judgemental, but it's hard to look at these people the same way now.

Your Facebook isn't much like my Facebook - and I've got both my boyfriend's parents friended, and his dad's a PASTOR. In KENTUCKY. Frankly, religious nuttery would probably make my Facebook more interesting. To quote the Doobies, Jesus is just alright with me, but it's not something I feel the need to make a lot of status updates about or anything.
