I want to throw a party - seriously! I just keep thinking of that extra money each month, although I'm sure something will break that needs to be fixed or some other bill will appear. I''ve concluded that there is no such thing as actually getting ahead...but no more loans is at least nice. :-)

Congrats on calling the Aaron twist. Your comment about the timeline is interesting. Aaron looked to be around two and a half to my untrained eyes. Considering how long the legal system can drag its feet, it's possible Kate has been off for as long as two years. On the other hand they might have wanted to try her as quickly as possible. Whatever happened, she had long enough to make cozy (but huge) home with Aaron first.

In watching the end again, he does seem to be pretty old. Maybe they're not leaving the island as soon as they would have us believe? And I wonder how long they're off the island before Jack grows his beard and figures out they have to go back?

Congratulations on getting the student loans done! I'm only mildly envious at the mere prospect...

Lost: silly title and crazy Locke, I agree. I've long since given up on expecting timeline consistency. I actually liked the twist well enough too - I assume Claire's dead.

Yeah, Oceanic looks like they paid through the nose. But it would have been out of liability insurance, which I imagine they would be required to have in truly vast sums. Nice house - although it looks big enough to require a maid just to keep it in order!

Thanks! It's feeling pretty good!

I'd assume Claire's dead, too. Even given the prospect that people were left behind on the island (willingly or not) why would Aaron be sent away while Claire stays?

A maid would be good - I don't really see Kate as the dusting, vacuuming type!

congrats on the student loans being done! that must feel so damn good.

kate's house was so beautiful, she has it made!

I like the questions the twist raises, but I'm kind of irked that women on the show are always getting saddled with children/pregnancy as their plots while men get all the good stuff.

Thanks! It feels wonderful!!!

I was so trying to think of a counterexample, but I've got nothing! That really does seem to be a theme with this show, doesn't it? Well, except for Shannon - but look where she ended up.

Well, Rose doesn't seem to have any kids. Maybe they'll hand her a gun and she'll kick some ass? ;-)

I'm curious to see how this all plays out. But I was loving Claire actually having some interaction this week, spec with Locke. Him cooking dinner was far too sweet!
