Had a lot of fun at Dragon Con this last weekend. It was really different for me this year for a few reasons but I still had a really good time. I made some new friends that I can hang out with now every year in the Wheel of Time track. I just need a costume or 5 ( Read more... )

Bugger - I do believe I missed bumping into you. Next year I need to make sure I post the "girls drinking" before the event... I posted it about a week before...

Yeah I must have missed that particular post somehow. Oh well - maybe we will have a non-con version soon :)

I came looking for you! We even went to the flash party but people either 1) didn't know who you were 2) told me you went into the closet and didn't come out or 3) got snippy with me when I asked if they knew if you were around somewhere and said "i don't know where she is *this minute*" so we hung out a little bit but the heat and smell was too much to take any longer.

Yeah, the heat was not nice. We are trying to come up with options for that next year since the main reason we kept getting shut down was because many people stood in the hall/walkway. Meanwhile we still had over 400 people get into the party, and I think the LJ list was near 200.

I think next year we are going to make the party invitation only.

Okay, we'll have to meet up again soon!
