Why is it that low-effort spam is the most enjoyable to receive?

I just got an email that reads:

From: [random Brazilian email address]
Subject: To come out of his water

Formerly garnished with toes so neat
[URL to what is probably somebody's home machine, in Russia,
which has been taken over by spammers with links to Chinese domains]Best

I for one am glad to see spammers taking on the mission of bringing poetry to us all!

I wholeheartedly agree! I mean, I would likely never have read this poem had it not been for "startle." He/she has made the world a more enlightened place. ;)
