I've have flu all weekend. Actual flu! My eyes are killing me. I have chills and fever. My legs are like jelly. My arms feel like all the muscle is shredded and my head feels like it has knives sticking in it. I'm exhausted. I can't breathe. And.... I actually went into town this morning for my school thingy. I could barely drive. I did use the ( Read more... )

Sounds exactly like what I went through... the cough combined with my asthma for a lot of difficult breathing.

The good news is you will survive.

Yeah - asthma + respiratory viruses = teh suck. Every time I get a piffling cold, it ends up as bronchitis. Sigh. I'm glad you're better, though, and thanks for reassuring me I'm not going to languish like a consumptive poet; though the image of that is romantic, the reality... not so much.

Grr! I pressed something and lost my comment AGAIN! It's a program for abused women, which makes me feel like a total loser going to every day, but I'm trying to use it to become a bit less shy. I've been sick so much this winter that I've missed a lot of time, and so I'm being pressured to go in this week even though I'm quite ill.
And I wasn't sure if you'd seen this. It's possibly the best classified ad ever... a curmudgeon after my own heart.

I was going to write something else, but I can't for the life of me recall what it was. I thought my memory was improving, too. :( ... Oh yeah! My crazy-ass feet have a name! Though I think it's pretty dodgy you can have a human variation named after you just because you happened to notice it write a paper about it. It's not like the guy did anything special.
Apparently, they're Celtic feet, which would make sense, though I've never had a bunion (I have, of course, had toenails fall off due to ill-fitting shoes pressing on my abnormally long toes, though, and I can use them to pick ( ... )

YES! Ah... it was sufficient. It was so weird, though. The episode put me into a dreamlike state - it was the time-travelling. It was only after the episode ended that I snapped-out of it and it was like I'd come off glue or I'd been in a dream or something. It's either the past drug trips or the fact that I've experienced psychosis, but the episode made total sense to me. Yeah - the ending, though. It was like aerosol cheese. Have you ever had aerosol cheese? I haven't, and I always used to envy the kids who brought squeeze cheese to school (the plastic tubes of cheese that looked like sausages). I liked the way it came out like piped icing on the cracker. I was always stuck with a crappy old Babybel.
