Summary: London's streets are painted in monochrome, lacking in colours.
It is quiet, too quiet.
The breathing is at a minimal, and it ruins him as he thinks back on life - about how the life he knew was so quiet, so silent without the other. Without him. A lacking piece in his every day life, from the hollowing wind pressing up against the window to the silent gesture that he is in fact alone.
London's streets are painted in monochrome, the colours lacking as his life is sucked out - left into the soil of the earth as a reminder that he is forever more alone. The loneliness seeps into him, killing every colour inside of him, drying up the dear plant in their window - no, his window.
Kyung Soo had been a person with a quiet mind, yet now. Now it is too quiet.
Every thought runs its course, just like how they are right now. They are running their course, stepping into the matter of - life goes on, even if it is more like - life goes from you, and leaves you be. Loneliness cannot be described in a sense of words, he thinks as he traces a finger over cool glass. Loneliness is a lacking feeling in companionship, he believes as he breathes against the glass, closing his eyes once more.
Baek Hyun had been his light, the colour and the music sang in the wind.
It was like the day before; the sun seeping into their lives. Smiles on their lips as they sat side by side in their small, cramped flat. Knees knocking lightly against each other, their laughter chiming in the wind as the summer blew into their place with a gentle sweep through their window - ruffling up Baek Hyun's hair with such care, as in an attempt to make Kyung Soo fall for the man all over again.
And it worked.
He had leant up against him, pressed warm kisses over parted lips - ears picking up the sounds of laughter, the rumble inside himself breaking him to breathe in the other. Baek Hyun was beautiful in the eve of the summer, their fingers linking together as they shared almost shy kisses as the wind ruffled their hair, making them fall for each other all over again.
It was in the moment where they kissed - chapped lips pressing against another pair of lips - that Kyung Soo thought of Baek Hyun as the main role in his film, in his life; his beautiful romance.
And yet they had learn it in the a very sense of the moment. Of fingers slipping against sweaty palms, of tears streaked laughter and the sadness swallowing them both in despair. They parted ways.
It is almost laughable, Kyung Soo thinks as he draws across the glass - writing in the name that haunts his dreams as he wonders about everything - if it was even worth it. So why, why is he looking at those same pair of eyes? The hair being blown in such childish way, as if it is in a light ruffle, leaving the other to stare at him in wonder. Is that even wonder he sees?
