I had the opportunity to witness another Mr. Fraternity while working as GC S&S. Just thought some of you would be interested in what's going on at our old stompin' grounds

only once in a while. new job keeps me busy. i try to get in to the College once a month or so for a couple hours. i want to keep on the payroll there because someday I may want to put in for a management position there. I wouldn't mind being the director or assistant director if it paid well enough. I would assume that with my MS in Admin of Justice, being a GC alum, having management experience in my current job, and working for S&S part-time for however many years gives me a pretty good shot at it. i don't see the current guy leaving any time soon but that's fine because I'm enjoying my current position and have no desire to leave any time soon. just keeping options open.
I got your letter today :) Longer response when I have a chance, of course, but you do know you are always welcome to visit, right? Are you free either of the weekends after this weekend? I was thinking about hitting the outlets, either at Gettysburg or Lancaster.
the only plans i have for the weekend of 8-10 is a work Christmas party at night on the 9th. and nothing is planned for the following weekend.
and i have always felt that it would be rude and inappropriate to say this, but i'd like to visit sometime and see your farm. i love animals. i grew up next door to a farm. i even went to horse-riding camp when I was a kid b/c i loved it so much
I don't have my book in front of me, of course. Could you come down on the Sunday? The 10th, I guess that is? Maybe you could meet the horses, and then we could grab some lunch or something?
Most people aren't really interested, so I try not to be pushy. Otherwise they get here and go, "Eww, it's so muddy. And what's that smell?"
tentatively yes. let's see what the weather is like when we get closer to the date. if the weather is nice, we can do the farm thing and if it's crappy, we could maybe go to the outlets somewhere and see a movie or something. the mud and the smell don't bother me (in fact i like the "farm smell" which is weird to most people but i grew up w/ it so it's not unpleasant for me) but icy cold rain and snow keep me indoors
