My maternal grandfather who I barely knew came from Odessa and I can't help by obsess over what is going on in Ukraine. During the previous administration I didn't have that safe secure feeling, but thank goodness that's changed at least a bit. How Putin can say that Ukraine is neo-Nazi when the president is Jewish boggles my mind. What a travesty!

Oh, and I hope that the Russians who own LJ censor this. Give me a reason to give it up once and for all...

It appears they didn't, censor this, that is. Perhaps this is a tool for control by seeing who expresses opinions that are contrary to the best interests of the Russian Federation, as they see it
