“So, this is summer in Quadling Country?” Adora asked, kicking her feet gently in the water.
“Yep,” came Wyatt’s answer, as he skipped a stone across the lake.
“Your parents have a lovely ranch. Did you grow up here?” Adora asked, leaning back on her hands.
“Yep,” Wyatt said, turning to his side and leaning on his elbow. He ran a finger up Adora’s arm to her shoulder and then down near her armpit to skim the side of her breast. She turned and raised a brow as his finger continued its journey to graze lightly under her breast. He didn’t look into her eyes, but kept his focus on tracing the outline of her breast.
“WOOHOO!”
“What the…” Wyatt started to say as the boards to the short pier began to creak and bounce as someone ran across them. Wyatt turned just in time to see his brother coming towards them in a quick pace, with a bright smile on his face. Wyatt ducked as Garrett leaped over them. His arms wrapped around his legs in midair as he cannonballed right into the water.
Water exploded on impact, sending a shower upon Wyatt and Adora. Adora laughed, shielding herself with her hands. As the water settled, Garrett popped up from the water with a satisfied smile.
“Clearly, some of us are still growing up,” Wyatt said annoyed, wiping the water from his face.
“Well, at least he had pants on,” Adora commented genially.
