I guess I've been remiss in my use of LJ and have been mostly on Facebook these days. After all, Facebook is where I found my birth mother last year and the networking there got me on Broadway in a benefit concert of BRIGADOON last month, too. So for me, it has its benefits.

So, what's been going on in my life? I'm still unemployed, but so far

So wonderful to see a post from you!!! "Pleasantville" makes sense as a musical, so I'll cross my fingers you take the ride with it! Congrats, too, on "Brigadoon".

I've been reluctant to write anything career related on FB, because of concerns for privacy. The job with Wells Fargo has been a poor fit since the day I left training, but I didn't want to write about it. I'm sure that companies monitor social media.

I wish you much success with employment in the career you love!! I am completely in your corner.

Hello...just random wandering through after I saw you in mrdreamjeans's LJ. Just wanted to say wow on finding your birth mother. Did you two then meet up?

hey there fitfool, yes we did meet and have had a really positive experience and are still in touch on a regular basis. I also am now in touch with extended biological family including two half brothers and a half sister.
