On Saturday the 5th, I got to finally meet in person the delightful bootedintexas and his friend Scott scdancetx2 , and along with Scott's boyfriend Dan, my sweet jimwnyc and our friends Michael and Rob, we made our way out to Coney Island for a wonderful afternoon of fun and of course, the world famous Cyclone! Felt the urge to write today. Life is good. I've noticed in the past that i tend to "journal" either online or in physical books whenever I've been depressed or sad or lonely. jimwnyc and I got back this past weekend from a week out in New Mexico visiting his Mom for a couple of days in Albuquerque and then spending a week in Santa Fe. A wonderful day spent with friends in Green Wood Cemetery listening to a fine band concert and having a lovely picnic. We visited Bernstein's grave and walked to the highest point to see the tribute to "Liberty," the statue of Minerva pointing into the distance where you can see the Statue of Liberty.
