Today is a very sad day for my country

I have been thinking of you all last night and now this morning as I try to catch up on what happened while I slept. It is so sad and my heart is heavy today.

Today is a a day of thanks in America, so I'll give thanks for your safety, for the friendship between our countries, and pray for an end to violence everywhere.

I cried when I read about this. I worry about your safety when I read things like this. I am glad you are safe.
*hugs* and vibes for your continued safety.

I'm glad to see a post from you today. I wasn't sure if you live anywhere near it, so I was planning on giving you a poke. So... *poke*

(Also, I'm very much enjoying the tea. I took the first flush with me to work, since Twin Mum, whom I used to share a pot with and who is very picky, has defected to some sort of herbal concoction so I can have it all to myself. It seems like I'm drinking more of it than I did of the other supermarket-brand stuff. Usually a whole pot through the day.
I have also tried listening to the cd once when I was feeling all tired and blah and shit, and it definitely lives up to its title. I only heard some of it before it lulled me to sleep.)

My heart breaks for you and your country today. Many people here are praying for all of you, and hoping this ends quickly and with no further injury or loss of innocent life.
Here's hoping our new President will be able to help heal this messed up world....
I'm happy you and your family are safe.

Oh, Tinni... I am so worried for you. I am so sorry for the horror that's happening, the pain that your country is going through.

I hope you and your family have a safe weekend.

*hugs*
