Good luck. I can't say too much on the subject, but you can vent at me anytime. That is if you want to vent at silly naive me. I just want to remind you that we don't need to define ourselves by the men in our lives; that means we don't need to have one in our lives at all times.
*hugs again* Good luck and I'll talk to you later.
You're both taking it slow, so I think listening to him and letting it run its course is a good idea. Just go ahead and just... well, live. Do what you need to do and don't sweat it.
As for the sexual nature of men, I guess its hard to distinguish if its love or lust, because we don't see the difference between them. You girls get all worked up about how we treat you like sexual objects, but for those who are in love as well, we can't differentiate your bodies from you because it is a part of you. For all we care, you could have just one buck tooth and one boob, but if we're in love, that doesn't matter (Practically speaking, we we'd be crazy if we did that, but nonwithstanding, love makes men do crazy things).
Liz is right; don't let someone else define who you are. Define yourself. But by the same token... don't shut everyone else out. The special ones enrich it.
