End of year thing-y: First meme ever
Happy new year to everyone! I hope you guys all had fun over the holidays. 12 months till the next one =)
And since I'm not doing anything at work again:
1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Traveled out of the country. Made online friends.
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I accomplished more than half of my goals for the year, so that’s not at all bad. I’ve set new goals for 2008 so I have something to look forward to.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope. Thank God
5. What countries did you visit?
Singapore, the cleanest and most freaking-ly organized country I know of.
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
A car? And definitely more discipline in work…
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
April 2 - the day the Bar results came out
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Passing the Bar exams
9. What was your biggest failure?
Hmmm… I honestly don’t know. But if I failed in it I will definitely try to forget about it.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Colds, cough, etc. Conveniently happens when I’m too lazy to go to work. Nuninuninu…
11. What was the best thing you bought?
A Nokia E65 phone. I’ve been wanting to replace my 3yr-old phone and finally saved enough money to get a new one.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
I have no idea
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
Mine? Work-wise that is..
14. Where did most of your money go?
Skin care products (moisturizers, etc), clothes, shoes (I’ve so many I’ve started to hide them from the bf whenever I buy a new one). Yes, I’m shallow but I feel like I’m only now starting to act like a girl and getting girly stuff.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Trip to Singapore and to Boracay - one of the most beautiful beaches in the world
16. What song will always remind you of 2007?

i. happier or sadder?
Happier, thankfully
ii. thinner or fatter?
The same, I hope to lose some weight..

Procrastinate, internet

At home with my sibs and grandma

I watched Crash only this year so I’ll go with that

On my 28th bday, I had dinner with the bf, my sibs, and grandma. Then I treated my officemates to lunch the following day.
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
I know this sounds extremely cheesy but I’d have loved if my dad were still alive. I think he would have been proud of the fact that I did what I set out to do.

Bhutto’s assassination at the end of the year. Kenyan post-election violence (very disturbing. They’re burning people in churches there! Wth?)
