I have just finished watching a History Channel special on Sex in the Bible.  Of course, they quote various texts and then elaborate upon them.  There are many "experts" giving their versions of what particular texts mean.  It was interesting to hear these opinions and to learn more about  David, the great King of the Israelites, being an adulterer

IMHO sex and death are related through surrender. Before there can be an ecstatic release surrender occurs. I can not personally vouch for any 'ecstatic release' post death. I have witnessed surrender before any release from this physical plane. I surrender before an ecstatic sexual release that connects me to God herself.
Continuing to ponder this excellent topic.

Yes, I agree. That is why I said "ecstatic release." Surrender was implied. I apologise for this not being more clear.
