Ritual
I awoke early this morning to prepare for my ritual for Cora at 10AM. I showered with lavender oil added to my liquid soap and dried myself as I chanted Her names. Lavender Bouquet
Although I wanted to go to the Bay Area for Cora's service, things just didn't come together. The plane ticket was outrageously expensive due to such short notice and, in order to catch an early enough flight, I would have had to get up at 3AM. So, I decided to stay home and participate in the service from my own altar.

Last night I was up very late. For some reason I wasn't tired and didn't want to go to bed. Finally, at 1AM, I slipped between the sheets in my darkened room and a soft, ethereal blue light was shining there. I immediately thought of Cora and my heart was filled with love. A Jewel For Cora
Reading poetry has been a favorite of mine since I was a child. I have always loved the meter and rhythm of poetry. WOW! WHAT A WEEKEND!
I am in the process of recovering from my weekend in the Bay Area. I went up there because my close, personal friend and Feri sister , Maya Hopkins, was initiated on Saturday. Connection
Today I went to a party. The people who gave this party do so about every four months. It's for local musicians (who rawk!) to get together and jam and for friends with similar interests to gather. Since I am a Beatles fan, I have common ground with many of the people who attend. I love good Rock 'n Roll. I had a great time.
