Trust test number one....I cut Timmy's hair tonight. We should have taken before and after pictures. He's taking a shower to wash off the floaty hair. We'll see how well I did when he gets out. I'm nervous.

I got to the clinic way early today. I'm paranoid about being rushed and not having time to get things together right or get my head straightened out before my clients get here so I get here way too early. So now I'm ready and I have 30 minutes to kill again.

I'm at the speech and hearing center. I had a client reschedule for today. Normally I have Friday afternoons off. Not today. He's coming at 2:00. I really don't mind because that means I get more ASHA hours if he comes. The problem is I'm ready, and I still have 30 minutes before he gets here. Is this growing up? Is choosing what you need to do over what you want to do a sign that you're an adult? responsibility...that's it. There's a lot I want to do, but I can't fit it all in. There are a lot of people I want to see, but there's not enough time for the catch up time they all deserve. I guess it would be easier if we kept in touch ( Read more... )
