Well, I hope that all of you had a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year. I think that mine wasn't too bad, despite the OJ bondage. Made some money and new friends, so I suppose it wasn't that bad. Over all I think this year has had the most impact on me out of all the others I've had to gruel through. I switched schools again, lost 15 ( Read more... )

Wow! I really like the first one, and the 'sexiest moment' one. They're GORGEOUS.

I still have that ceramic hand you made for me a few years back. I don't even distract the beauty of it by putting rings on it (as was your intention, when you made it).

Instead, it sits by itself on my shelf, with no real function except to radiate beauty. I always get expressions of "cooool" or "where'd you get that?" from people who see it!

Lol! I can't believe you still have that thing. I completely forgot about it. I wonder how much more stuff is out there that I forgot about... Anyhoo, Happy New Year Pally!!

tee. I've been trying to read 'Eragon' for like six months. I'm about 100 pages from the end, and have pretty much just given up. I saw the movie yesterday, and my brother and I now have a new saying. "Let's (verb)(noun). It's better than Eragon." Boring! so so boring! although, you know, that gives hope to people whose stories are actually unboring.

I just finished the damned thing. The last 50 pages are actually relatively half decent. Almost worth the push to get to it. Now the question is do I face down the second book. My aunt leant me that one so I have no real obligation to read it since I didn't spend money on it... Is the movie worth seeing??

well.... ....there's some... pretty scenery... and Saphira's beautiful......

The guy playing Murtagh really really wants to be Christian Slater. Jeremy Irons was pretty good as Brom, and he was probably the best thing about the movie. But then again I love Jeremy Irons. John Malkovich was annoying, Djimon Hounsou was wasted, Joss Stone was... odd... and the first three quarters of the film was even more boring than the book.

The script's not all that, either. Horrible dialogue.

So no, not really worth seeing. But treat it as you plan to treat "Eldest". See it if you don't have to spend money on it.

Meanwhile, I'm off to see "Happy Feet"! Penguins ftw.

Ooo, that is some gorgeous art, you. ^^ Though I get the bonus of seeing it in real life first, it scans well. ...I saw the Snape/Lily (Snily? Oh, hah...) picture as a portrait alignment, not a landscape, so that threw me for a loop the first time I saw it. ^^*

I'm glad to hear that Eragon got better... (?) and applaud your persistence. ^_~

I love this post so much! It's wonderful to see your art from your POV. I had no idea my picture was the hardest to draw. Yikes! You are a freakishly talented artist, and I hope you stay that way ( ... )

10 years old and he didn't like it? Man, now I really don't want to see it. I wonder how my minion (the boy who originally told me to read the book) liked the movie. I suppose I will have to wander over to the studio to find out... Either way I have to see the movie. I promised my aunt... At least the costumes are pretty...?

Anyhoo, all the best to you as well! Hopefully that muse of yours will be back and running around like mad in your head this year. ;p
