So, this is why my mother-in-law is evil.  I took a new part-time job working as a test proctor on Saturdays.  The job is really easy, and I can even get some studying done once the examinees are all checked in and at their computer stations.  And Carolyn, the Evil One, watches Ethan while I'm there, or at least that's the arrangement.  But this ( Read more... )

hey, im new to this chat thing....i just need somewhere to turn to for support. I noticed alot of the people on here are in highschool or wutnot living with their parents. I read you have a two year old..this is kinda a pregnancy ana question. I recovered from my ed like 2 years ago and got back up to a normal weight and didn't think about food constantly or anything. Then i got pregnant and gained alot of weight during pregnancy, i got up to 170. I had my baby girl in july and now i feel ana is back. I have been fasting again and i competly hate my body. And that old familar burn in my stomache feels soo good. My question is...did your ed go away while you were prego or did you just develop it after or wut? i dunno if this made sense or not.

Hey there. Good questions! Never be shy with me :)

I had my ED from the time I was 11-21 and then got pregnant. I HAD to gain for my son's safety and did. He was burn Sept '05 and I breastfed him for 18 months. Losing weight rapidly while nursing releases certain toxins into your milk, so if you are nursing, be aware of this and go slowly (it'll come off evntually, I promise) My boy is now 2 and I have bout 15 lbs remaining of the 50 I gained, so I am working on getting back to my LW. As a mom I don't feel like I can do very extreme fasts anymore because I have to stay strong enough to keep up with my son - He comes first, ED is always second. I can take diet pills not that we aren't nursing and I just started doing that again yesterday. I am now 24. Hope this answers your questions - feel free to ask if you have more
