it's my 21st birthday today. finally. no more sneaking drinks through other people or settling for only 18+ shows. i think i'll head over to a bar around noon today to seal the deal. again.

maybe steve albini will buy me a drink tonight at the shellac show.

however much i like shellac, i was unaware of steve albini's drinking habits, and definitely would have been in trouble with that one. i was considering screaming out "it's my fucking 21st birthday!" but i was in the balcony, and it would have been pretty obnoxious.

it was a fucking AMAZING AMAZING show, i hadn't been to such a good show in a long time, i rocked out pretty hard. last night i heard about the disaster with hellfest - did you get to see lifetime/coalesce?

i miss you hamish. i'm coming over your house today, in fact, to hang with rita and samuel. if you were over, you could eat our future cookie batch(es).
