"Kame?" Jin knocks on the door again, more firmly this time, and hopes that he has the right apartment. "Kame, open up! I know you're in there, you wouldn't be anywhere else except rehearsal because you have no life, unless you're sick, are you sick?" Jin knocks a little more frantically. "Kame, are you sick? Oh, god. You've fallen and you can't get up, haven't you." Jin stares at the doorknob desperately, hoping it'll twist open in a random feat of luck. An idea occurs and he immediately crouches down and grabs Kame's doormat, sweeping it aside and feeling up the carpet-

"Hi," Jin bobs his head in respectful bows, smiling harmlessly at the little old lady who has stepped out of her apartment and is going down the stairs hurriedly, staring at him. "How are you."

He goes back to his frantic search and finally, finally his fingers hit something small and metallic.

"Yes!" Jin crows, "I knew you'd be anal enough to have a spare key!" He gets back to his feet, not bothering to put the doormat back - Kame could be dying, okay, it's not ( ... )

How long does it take Jin to realize the cat's Kame? How much physical harm does Kame manage to inflict on him in the interim? Can't wait to find out :D!

"Ouch! Damn it!" Jin falls back onto the bed, hand cupping his scratched shoulder gingerly. He catches sight of the cat next to his face and instinctively flinches away. When Jin scrambles away from the cat and sits up again, it is sitting on the far end of the bed, looking almost apologetic ( ... )
