His voice was almost suspicious, so Jin was careful with his answer. "Most people are clubbing by now, so I thought it'd be a good time for a walk, and I just kind of stumbled upon it..."
Kame's eyebrow twitched. Jin, leaving a club, at this hour...the thought was taboo. "Are you sure you weren't running away, on your way to a club, from some old drunk that wouldn't stop following you?" That seemed much more logical, in his opinion, and had happened before. Thrice.
"Um, no."
Liar. "Okay." Jin could tell by his tone of voice that Kame didn't believe him. He sighed dejectedly. "It really is beautiful, though..." Taken by surprise, Kame yelped as Jin pushed him towards the little wooden bridge that swooped gracefully over the pond ( ... )
