Jin wanted to see and experience as much as he could. He could hear Yamapi still calling him, but he kept going.
"That little..." Yamapi put on an extra burst of speed, hoping to catch the twinkling idiot before something went wrong. That "something wrong", however, had just rode into town.
Kame brushed his hair away from his face after exiting out of the stable where his horse was now rest. He took a few steps forward, but then stopped and reached into the pocket for his runes. There was no use wasting time here if the star might be getting ready to move on. "Will the star appear before me?"
Kame's open hand lay waiting for the falling runes, but he never caught them. They fell to the ground seconds after the hunter did, having been tackled unexpectedly by something quite solid. "Get off, you bumbling oaf," Kame hissed, pushing at the weight keeping him trapped to the ground. "Get off!" He gave a firm shove and rose to one ( ... )

And omg Kame's found Jin adfkdjklghfg ok and I love that you include all this non-Akame interaction between Yamapi and Ryo they are so cute.
