“I’m so scared,” Koki said, deadpan. “Kame, hold me.” With that he latched on to Kame, who was trying very hard to suppress his laughter.

“I didn’t know you lived nearby, Tanaka-kun,” Yuu asked with interest, ignoring the incoherent threats coming from under him.

Koki grinned. “I don’t. But I can hardly ignore a close friend’s plea for company when he calls me after so long, can I?”

Yuu raised his eyebrows. The unintelligible noises coming from Jin suddenly stopped. Kame sipped his drink demurely.

“I figured I should look for…” he trailed off. “Companions,” he said at last, starting to smile. “Since it seems like mine is about to go into hibernation pretty soon, you know.”

“I am not!” Jin yelled and renewed his attempts to get free. Everyone present ignored the outburst.

“You two were pretty thick before too, huh,” Yuu observed. “I seem to remember hearing some rather unflattering things about you and your lineage from Ji- a mutual acquaintance all those years ago,” he said, looking apologetically at Koki

Honestly Kame/Koki you managed to work that in wtf. Jin is so predictable and I love it when he gets all jealous, and Kame knows this and uses it totally to his advantage. And squid-inked juniors. akdjrgurejgeurgskdfkdf!!!!
