The outing started off with them flying through Hollywood. Kame wasn’t interested in the stars and neither was Jin; he’d lived in L.A. for a good decade. The flying slowed to cruising and Jin finally parked a few dangerous inches away from a “no parking” zone; “cars will be towed”. When Kame pointed out the signs, the novelist laughed and said it would give him an excuse to visit his friends at the impound lot
