It should be easy, Kame thinks, while Jin laughs, the sound rich and carefree as it fills their empty dressing room, bounces off the painted walls and glides along the slick mirrors.
It should be easy, Kame thinks, while Jin smiles so wide his face almost cracks. His shoulders are shaking slightly, tiny little pleasure tremors wracking his frame, and Kame catches a glimpse of the Jin-before, the Jin whose eyes are not puffy from sleepiness and whose form is not taut with weary tension.
It should be easy, Kame thinks as Jin ends the call, still smiling and looking like he’s no care in the world.
