"Well, I don't know, I actually think it's not a bad idea." Koki actually looks thoughtful, like he's considering this hare-brained scheme. "I mean, we've always done cosplay sections, but an entire cosplay-themed concert…"
"It doesn't sound like us, right?" Ueda says as he drums his fingers on the table top. "But it'll definitely be unexpected, which is very us."
"I don't know," Maru muses. "Do you think it's too much like something Shoko-tan would do? I mean, she's the otaku idol, right."
"But it would be so cool!" Jin's eyes gleam dangerously when he realizes that they're all starting to buy into the idea. "Imagine dressing up as the best villains of the decade! Uedaroth versus Lord Jindemort! It'd be legendary! They'll talk about it for the next fifty years, and no other band in or out of JE will ever be able to beat it ( ... )

But yes, yes, I know exactly what you mean. x.x My first reaction when I saw the prompt was, "...Ow." But then I thought about it, and I realized that it didn't have to be angsty.
I actually wrote too soon, 'cause right afterward, I saw a report on today's cK, where apparently JIN COSPLAYS AS SEPHIROTH. T.T Lord Kamemort (© samenashi) and Jinphiroth would make such a beautiful pair.

That's it, Kame decides, enough is enough. Koki has been strange recently. He's always insisting on sitting next to Kame in class all the time, even for History of Sparkly Magic Creatures, which Kame knows Koki hates, or stuffing food down his stomach, or shooing away everyone who bothers Kame while he's studying. Kame doesn't really mind Koki being such a nice friend, if only he wasn't offering Kame lifts home every night, even though Kame lives half an hour further away from their university than Koki does.
"Koki," he starts, "You need to stop this."
Koki is lazily sprawled on the couch and looks up from the magazine he's reading. He doesn't really know what Kame wants now. "What are you talking about?"
"This," Kame gestures. "You're getting too close to me. I don't like it. You know I don't like you and how I have a fucking jealous boyfriend and oh god, if Ji ( ... )
