"Looks clear."

Kame glanced up from the couch as Jin stood and glanced around his living room one last time. He'd insisted on coming up and checking to make sure there weren't any ambushes in Kame's apartment, and Kame had let him for some reason that was still unclear to him. Possibly, it had something to do with the siren timbre of Jin's voice. Possibly, it also had something to do with the firmness of Jin's waist beneath his hands, back pressed against his chest for that long, long ride back.

"Oh," he said, doing his best to ignore the chemical-befuddled part of his brain that didn't want Jin to leave. "Thanks."

The vampire stuffed his hands in his pockets and shuffled around awkwardly, but Kame was caught by the graceful bend of his neck, the curl of Jin's hair at the nape, almost begging for fingers to run through it, the drape of his slightly rumpled shirt over the breadth of his shoulders.

It was so strange. Before tonight, he hadn't even known that Jin existed. And yet less than twenty-four hours later-less than twelve

It's really not that exciting... Jin just over-drank a little bit. XD

I figured since vampires have crazy seductive pheromones, feeding should probably feel like sex. :D
