Ryu stands still. It's awkward to have Hayato corner him like this, and he feels somewhat exposed.

"You never tell me anything now," Hayato says. He raises his right hand, and brushes the cut on Ryu's cheek. Ryu draws back, partly because of the pain, partly because of something else. He can't look at Hayato properly in the eye. He feels like Hayato's searching for something that he shouldn't see. "What are you trying to hide?"

"I -" Ryu begins, but Hayato cuts in, leans down for a kiss (warm chapped lips against his own). Ryu can taste copper in his tongue, Hayato's, he thinks. He wants to say, we shouldn't do this, we can't do this, we can't, we can't, because we're enemies, but he feels his arms snaking up and wrapping around Hayato's neck.

He can feel the rough wall scraping his back, opens the cuts and scratches, and shit this is going to take hours to fixThey break for a while, catch their breath, and Hayato mutters something before gripping his neck, then lowers his head

Gokusen2 was a boring jdrama but the Hayato/Ryu moments got me hooked. The confrontations between them always seem to have some underlying meaning. XD

I just realized that Hayato did all the talking and Ryu only said a few words. Oh well, we're used to Ryu not talking that much anyway. LOL.
