“Silly. I’m not leaving and I’m not disappointed, if that’s what you think,” Jin says as he gently rests his head on Kame’s shoulder, so close that his cheek meets delicately with Kame’s.
Kame sighs, relieved and responds by putting his hand on Jin’s arm. Silence washes over the whole atmosphere, but this time it’s one of understanding, one in which words don’t need to be said.
“So, tell me why today is special for us.” Kame breaks the silence, still wondering. He leans back comfortably against Jin, who only brings Kame even closer than they already are, his warm body completely surrounding Kame.
“Today. . .” Jin breathes. “Today is the anniversary of the first time you ever complimented me.”
Suddenly, Kame teels that the whole nice mood they had created just flew out the window. He blinks, not knowing what to think. Did he just say what I thought he said?! Kame breaks ( ... )
