Just stuff

I called in sick from work today. I wish it was something more responsible than "I'm hungover" but it's not. So I'm going to SPAM. Spammity-spam-spam! Always makes me think of Monty Python...
Finally got a digital camera - yeah I know. Wake up and smell the 21st century Rebecca. So I'm kinda doing this to see if I can.
Anyway -
Went out for beers and grub last night, at this popular Townsville spot called The Brewery. They brew their own ales and do a damn fine job of it. St Paddy's day is pretty widely recognised in Oz.

Me and my RL gals last night, before the drunken debauchery:

We're all doctors, which is so incredibly boring I know. But it's hard to make friends outside of that whole circle. We share a lot, you know? Med school, and crappy hours, and night shift, and cranky consultants who make us all want to just give up sometimes. And the sort of things we talk about just really wouldn't be understood by non-medical types. Either that or they'd think we were incredibly callous for discussing people's health the way we do. So we tend to gravitate toward one another I guess, and stick. (I'm the blonde one.:"> It feels weird putting myself out there, but what the hey. The brief glimpses I've caught of the rest of y'all make me feel I know you just that little bit better, so I'm returning the favour. That is, if any of you actually want to know me a little bit better.:|)

My bootiful puppy!! REBUS.:x:x Then:

And now:

Isn't he just adorable? I love him so.
I think that will do.:D

I'm so aboard the Hex bandwagon. What an amazing show. Truly original, and haunting, and hip, and BISEXUAL. Flo recced it and then directed me to a torrent, and I have never been more grateful. The main actress reminds me so much of Michelle Pfeiffer in Grease 2 it's ridiculous. YES I KNOW THAT MOVIE IS RIDICULOUS TOO BUT MICHELLE STILL LOOKED GORGEOUS IN IT. And Thelma kinda reminds me of Kelly Osbourne.=)) But plz don't let that put you off - she's fabulous.=))

OK. End of spam.
