1. Logan/Weevil scene was DEE-LICIOUS, and all the more so because of THE SPOON. They played a Grinspoon song over the fight! Yay for my little Aussie bands making it in the big bad world of US cable. My heart doth swell.:x But please no more of those two PCH-ers who were obviously meant to be extras and were given a promotion during the season hiatus. I really hate it when bad acting pulls me away from the drama on screen.
2. I'm sorry but the Mac/Beaver scene was TOO.CUTE. The little shy thing he did after "SWEET" made my cheeks go red. For two people who've never been in a scene together before they had some AMAZING chemistry.
3. The Kendall/Trina smackdown was so gloriously reminiscent of Buffy. Charisma was *so* Cordy during that scene, I was waiting for a vamp to jump out from behind the couch...
4. Ooh the fetal monitor... as it clicked in my head I heard the inexorable DUN-DUN-DUN of a MAJOR PLOT TWIST(tm)... SHE'S PREGNANT - GASP!! Well of course she is, why else do the writers still care about her? Still, awesome reveal. I'm glad they didn't go with the alternate ending, that would've been too melodramatic even for this hyped-up plot-twist-crazed fan.
5. I think they're really pushing the envelope with the dirty family secrets thing. Did Trina really need more in her life than a suicidal mother and homicidal father? REALLY?
6. I'm ashamed to say I giggled the giggle of a smug fangirl when "venereal disease" was mentioned. V/D has been outed. And yet Veronica and Duncan didn't seem to catch it. The irony, that is.
This season is really heating up, and I'm loving the flush. But I can't help it - I'm still dancing the dance of the implacable L/V fan. Rob, RT, the Rat man... PLEASE for the love of Hugh give me some L/V lovin! Or, you know, just more of them sitting in a car together. That would be good too.
