So I'm sure some of you have moved countries or know someone who has. In light of recent issues with my mother's US immigration, how did you all go about it? I can't afford million dollar lawyers but it seems like it's a waste of money anyhow. Thoughts, comments?

It's a bit of a nightmare. Completely possible but very difficult. You seriously might want to think about a lawyer. (Albeit not that million dollar one)

Try talking to eirik. He and his wife have just gone through this trying to get his wife into Canada. It's taken a couple of years I think... and that's AFTER they got married. He'll probably have some good insight for you.
