I GOT THE RA JOB!!! for those of you that go to IU, I will be an RA in Foster next year! yay, but unfortunately deanna has not gotten her email yet

Congrats Emily! Did you apply to be in Foster or did they just place you there? Manda's going to be an RA and she's going crazy waiting for that email!

You cant apply to a specific location. You just apply then all of the department head will look at your application and what you said in the interview. YOu are told whether you are "hirable" or "unhirable". we got those emails last week. YOu can, however, be placed in teh hirable pool and still not be selected. That will be Deanna's situation if she doesnt get hired.

I feel very bad for Deanna because we somehow thought "oh, we will both either get it or both not. If we both don't get it, we'll live together." but now she doesnt know what to do about houseing. If she didnt get the RA job she might have to take this summer internship that she really doesnt want.
