Now the World is Small
I took myself by the scruff of the neck and made myself go into the studio and paint last night, in spite of the presence of Distractions. I did four paintings, with mixed results.

I used wet-in-wet washes for the background and added salt for effect. JW, who historically doesn't like anything that smacks of abstraction, actually *liked* this painting also.
My project count now stands at 285/1000.
I've taken to perusing my art books again to help feed the fire. Yesterday I was looking at this. Today I went online and watched the author start a painting. I love watching other artists paint, in part because I'm continually amazed at how *differently* we all do it!
