A Memory from Your Lonesome Past

I dragged my camera to Aliso Creek yesterday at lunch time in order to do my photobug homework.  I spent about half an hour taking photos of water birds.  I had great fun stalking a Snowy Egret.  He noticed me taking pictures and decided to take off -- straight for me!  Sadly, I was in manual mode and couldn't get the focus right in time as he flew

I agree! On the morning of our wedding, Jer and I saw a Great Egret, walking near the road. We call them our "wedding birds" now. :)
