I am always kind of perplexed as to why people make foods that taste like ketchup. I mean, obviously people find it to be delicious because they keep buying these things so people keep making them, but who looked at all the condiments possible and said 'you know what, ketchup? You're the one for me.'

I hear you on that. I actively dislike ketchup. My brother used to load 4 packets onto his pre-ketchuped McDonald's burgers when we were wee things. It grossed me into pickiness.

I'm pretty sure I've never eaten one bc their colors scare me. But after I heard that story I looked for them at the specialty store on my street, and they didn't have any. Sadfaces.

I don't think I'll be eating ketchup macaroons anytime soon, but I do love the line "a macaroon that makes gentle fun of Americans."

Gah, ketchup. Barf.

It should go on the packaging. Or become France's new national motto:

France: A macaroon that makes gentle fun of Americans.

A ketchup macaroon - and he puts a bit of pickle on it

Ew.

I've never eaten macarons, I prefer to decorate with them:
