I'm in shock... it's not often things render me speechless but the lyrics of this song have. i can't believe that someone would sing that shit. honestly. how is that she sounds she should be sorry to him, when he left and said things like "Like how much you wanted

Our family calls songs like this 'loser songs'. We absolutely hate them; this one especially irks me when her previous releases had the opposite lyrics:

As a portrait of an abusive relationship, you just can't get more lucid than this.

But this whole "nothing without you" is so Romeo and Juliette that I don't think it's going away any time soon.

It's a case of having both moved on from the angst of youth and acquired an intelligent taste for something more appropriate. There are plenty - and I mean PLENTY - of eager, spendthrift kids out there who want to hear something like this. You're not one of them.
