Writer's Block: Wear This, Not That

What is the most timeless article of clothing or fashion accessory?
In my opinion...pearls.  They are classy and go with everything from a t-shirt to a dress.  I have several pieces of pearl jewelry...even some from my grandmother.

I wear whatever I fancy at the time....e.g. right now a long lounge with a fleece sweatshirt over it......and lambs wool suede boots.....I am freezing

Sounds comfy...I have jeans and a tshirt on but am roasting thanks to the fact that it is 78 degrees in the library right now!

I am surprised they keep it that warm.
Our local library certainly does not.
Everybody wearing jackets and sweaters.

It isn't usually that warm, but the weather outside is unseasonably warm and they refuse to turn the air conditioning on until May, so we are slowly melting!:(
