What a coincidence, I'm going to Egypt around the same time as you :D More precisely, I'll be on a cruise that goes between Egypt & Jordan. Where are you heading to?

We're going to be in and around Cairo for a few days, and then we're going to go walking/camping in the Sinai desert, finishing up by climbing Mt Sinai, then relax in Sharm el-Sheikh and back to Cairo. How long is your cruise?

Sounds great! My cruise lasts for a week, start and finish in Sharm el Sheikh, stopping near Luxor and Cairo (and Aqaba/Petra in Jordan).

Wow, I really wanted to try and combine a visit to Egypt and Jordan, but time/pennies really weren't going to allow for that. Another time! Sounds fantastic!

I even managed to get Dan to read a Confederacy of Dunces - he usually poo-poos my recommendations - and he loved it too. Though he did go around talking in a deep South patois for quite a while afterwards.
