Trees

So I was thinking about deforestation the other day, on my way home from work.  You see, 696 is not exactly scenic; there's a reason my coworkers call it "the ditch."

I think that is a fantastic idea! Starting with a letter to your congreeman/woman would be a great place to start. Let me know if you need help with a letter writting campaign, I would totally help!

It really is a great idea...but just remember, November is not an ideal month to plant a tree....it would die if someone tried to plant it outside in northern regions of the country. So you may want to think about potted saplings that can be transplanted in April or May....

I would start with your congressman/woman and also talk with environmental groups....

You could do the tree thing in the primaries. I don't know what would be good for November, but... yeah.

Ooooh, I like it. That reminds me, would you believe I still have my Alma tree (that I named Arnold back in the day). It's still small enough to be in a pot, but someday I hope to plant it in our yard, when we're in a house that we know we'll stay in for many years and I can watch it grow. Yay trees. :)
