Oh, dear. Well, since Martha seems to be the one comforting her fellow German girls, here she is, wandering by with a basket of flowers for braiding. "Hallo, Thea!" she greets.

"Oh, Martha!" cries Thea, a bit dramatically, and puts her hands over her face. She meant to say hello back, really.

Martha furrows her brow and sits next to Thea, setting her basket to the side. "... what's the matter?" she asks carefully.

Normally Thea would make Martha promise not to tell a soul, but enough of their friends had witnessed the sorry event for themselves; there was no point in keeping it a secret.
