So I'm ready for my multi-milion dollar lottery win...

So much negative stuff is happening at the moment... I started writing this post and realized how negative it was... I've decided to focus on the positive today.

I have a boyfriend I love and get to see almost daily.

I am going through a hiring process for a Gov job with a salary almost double

What stage are you at in the hiring process?

Well I am in the middle of the security clearance stage. I am told there are only 3 more steps after this one, but who knows how long it might take! They are always backed up on this stuff.

Wow. That's awesome. Not to get your hopes up but Security clearance pretty much means your in. It might be another couple of months though before you get a letter of offer. HR in the government takes an insanely long time. It took me 8 months altogether before I got my job and internally, I have been waiting almost a year on some promotions I've applied for.

Ouch! well here's hoping! It'd be great to be back in the government again... as boring as it was, the pay totally made up for it!
